What type of care do you provide?
We provide personalized assisted living and residential care services for seniors who may need assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, mobility support, memory care support, and general supervision in a comfortable home-like environment.
Is your home licensed?
Yes. Sam’s Care Home is licensed by the State of Nevada as a Residential Facility for Groups (RFG) and operates in accordance with applicable Nevada laws and regulations governing residential care facilities, including Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 449 and Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) Chapter 449.
How many residents live in the home?
Our smaller residential setting allows for more personalized attention and a family-like atmosphere compared to larger institutional facilities. We have 5 private bedrooms.
Are meals provided?
Yes. Residents receive nutritious home-cooked meals, snacks, and accommodations for dietary needs or physician-ordered diets whenever possible.
Can residents bring personal belongings or furniture?
Yes. We encourage residents to personalize their rooms with familiar belongings, decorations, photographs, and select furniture items to help them feel comfortable and at home. If residents do not have any furniture to bring, we can supply.
Are visitors allowed?
Absolutely. Family involvement is encouraged, and visitors are welcome during designated visiting hours unless otherwise necessary for resident safety or health precautions. Family is encouraged to participate in meals and activities.
What activities do you offer?
We provide structured activities designed to promote socialization, physical activity, cognitive stimulation, and emotional wellbeing. Activities may include games, music, crafts, exercise groups, outdoor time, and holiday / birthday celebrations.
Do you administer medications?
Yes. Medications are managed and administered in accordance with Nevada regulations and physician orders.
